Marco Cappelletti, born in 1987, lives and works between Milan and Venice.
Until 2011 he studied and worked in the field of precision mechanics.
In 2013 he graduated in photography at CFP Bauer in Milan.
Strongly attracted by the way architecture influences and determines human life, he started documenting the projects of different architecture studies.
Thanks to the collaboration with DSL Studio, to which he is associated since 2015, he started taking pictures for the art and design world.
He collaborated with some of the major contemporary artists and architects — among which Thomas Demand, Ila Beka & Louise Lemoine, OMA, Aires Mateus Arquitectos, Labics — translating photographically the significant impact and meanings of an architecture on a territory and a community.
Furthermore, Marco Cappelletti collaborates with numerous cultural institutions such as Fondazione Prada, Fondazione Zegna, Architecture Academy of Mendrisio and V-A-C Foundation.
His pictures have been displayed at the Triennale di Milano, the MAXXI in Rome, the Design Museum in London, the Kunsthal in Rotterdam. They are, as well, regularly published in magazines and newspapers such as Domus, Wallpaper, Casabella, Abitare, C3 Magazine, Frieze Magazine, Kommersant, Arquitectura Viva, Living, Elle Decor, L’Officiel, ICON, ICON Design, Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, La Stampa, Le Monde, Wall Street Journal.
